I have a BX22 and would like opinions on which attachment would be the best choice for snow removel. The front blade, rear blade, hy snowplow or the blower. I have a 650 foot stoned driveway. It doesn't have to be a Kubota acc. I just want something that I can hook up without making to many adjustments.
Right now I'm using a Honda Tracker with a big supply of sheers and the FEL as a back up. I fill the bucket with snow and then have to go about resetting the bucket so I don't pick up to much stone on the next load. The drive-way is partially up hill and not level on the "flat" stretches.

The blower on the back with the loader on the front is good land less money then the front blower with that being the best machine for snow removal of any amount. ....

Check out my rig, it did great job to day. I did 12 accounts today with it and had no problems. The loader and rear blower combo is the best of both worlds in the same machine. ....

Stone as well as compacted pit run drives are going to be a problem if you're in an area where the drive doesn't stay frozen. There are many threads in the archives that talk about how to manage the stone problem with blades, loaders or blowers. I know my ordinary 3ph blower with standard skid shoes isn't very useful until after freeze up and I can cultivate a layer of snow pack on the drives.
The 'Murf Pipe' idea discussed for loader blades seems pretty good to keep them from digging in. I'll probably make one next year because we're all nice and frozen in here right now.
3ph blower and loader is my combination as well. For wide areas I tend to blow going backwards and then plow forwards to save maneuvering time. A blade wouldn't be very useful to me since parts of my drives go through cuts and there's no place to put snow except at the ends. ....
